I'm currently exploring two stealth projects — one focused on using AI agents to automate finance at scale, and another on simulating human behaviour and decision-making for predictive insights. By trade, I'm in strategic finance at SweepSouth, where we've processed over R800m / $50m to domestic workers across Africa.
Before that I worked as a financial analyst at PSG, and interned at KPMG in Management Consulting and at JP Morgan Chase & Co in Investment Banking and Sales & Trading.
I co-founded Neophyte Capital with mates from the University of Pretoria and have been obsessed with startups and venture ever since. I've also co-founded and angel invested in a few companies — some haven't worked out. I write about startups, capital markets, and venture-building on Substack. More recently, I've become a serious runner — I occasionally do 5KMs and 10KMs on weekends for fun.
I grew up in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Studied Finance at the University of Pretoria, where I served as Faculty Executive Treasurer and received the Dell Scholars award.
Together with Tshepi, I co-founded the Spring Company, an AI R&D lab. We're based in Cape Town.
